Welcome to the Bike Shack

New policy: if there’s no Bike Shack volunteer on duty, the Bike Shack workshop area is closed to the public. You cannot use the space during non-volunteer hours. Please check our schedule below to find out when volunteers will be on site.

The Bike Shack is a volunteer-run, donation-funded community bike shop. We help people learn to fix their bikes and provide tools for community use. We welcome everyone to come in and use our tools, ask us questions, or buy used bikes or parts.

We are located at 2415 NE 80th St, Seattle, WA 98115 (inside the NE Seattle Tool Library). We have limited hours – see our current schedule below.

The Bike Shack cannot take donations of complete or partial bikes, or frames. Please donate bikes to Bike Works or The Bikery. Thanks! (We do accept donations of parts in good condition during volunteer hours.)

Hours

Bike Shack Volunteer Hours (in BLACK) indicates that the Bike Shack space is available to use.
Open Borrowing Hours (indicated in GREEN) on the calendar indicates that the Tool Library is open for use.
The Bike Shack is not necessarily open all of the hours that the Tool Library is open.
We are grateful to be co-located with the NE Seattle Tool Library. Get a membership with the tool library to borrow many useful bike and non-bike tools for up to a week at a time! (No membership is required to use the Bike Shack.)

Please donate! All donations go toward rent, tools, and bike parts.
