All donations go toward rent,
tools, and bike parts.
Open Borrowing Hours on the calendar indicates that the Tool Library is open for use, the Bike Shack space is available to use, and a Tool Library volunteer will be present. Bike Shack Volunteer Hours indicates that the Bike Shack space is available to use and a designated Bike Shack volunteer will be present.
The Bike Shack is a volunteer-run, donation-funded community bike shop that helps people learn to fix their bikes and provides tools for community use. We welcome everyone to come in and use our tools, ask us questions, or check out used bikes or parts (available by donation).
The Bike Shack has moved to a new and improved location!
Our new location is 2415 NE 80th St, Seattle, WA 98115
We now currently share a space with the NE Seattle Tool Library who have open hours to access tools for borrowing. Bike Shack tools will be available to use during Tool Library hours, but the volunteer may or may not have any bicycle knowledge.
Membership in the Library is separate, but they do have many useful tools available to borrow for up to a week at a time.
Before our move we were burgled, please donate tools or money to help us with our moving costs and replacements!
Check out our bike links section for bicycle community resources, bike route mapping, rides, bike laws and safety information.
